MARGALA BLOCK – OUR OPERATED BLOCK
MOL Pakistan as Operator, was awarded the Exploration License for the Margala Block on November 8, 2006. Since then, two exploratory wells have been drilled: Margala-1 in 2010 and Tarnol-1 in 2022. Currently, the Margala Joint Venture is reprocessing ~970 line kilometers of 2D seismic data.Location: The Margala Block spans across the Islamabad Capital Territory and extends into the provinces of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
